My name is Marifer Angulo. I was born in Mexico City, Mexico, but raised in Southern California, USA and moved to Austin, Texas almost three years ago. I am 25 years old. I wanted to be an actress since I discovered the art and that grew into many other interests, however, I was always attracted to creating. Anything creative, I explored it all. Whether it be sketching, fashion design (I gave up upon discovering that I hate sewing), writing, acting, and finally, modeling— I was determined to try it all. I am now studying Public Relations at Texas State University with a Minor in Theatre (Acting).
So, about me; I love learning. I enjoy meaningful conversations over coffee. I love clothes and shopping (shocker). I laugh at my own jokes before I’ve finished telling them. I’m overall a very cheerful person and I love spreading happiness and good vibes. I love animals. I am both very easily amused and easily bored. Writing became my first creative outlet after I fell in love with literature. I treasure those close to me very dearly. I try to collaborate with artists I admire and am currently an aspiring model/actress and working to get contracts with brands. I try to be active in both modeling and editing.
I created this blog to share more about the creative scene in Austin, Texas. I want to make it easier for content creators to find resources and know about the artistic culture in Austin and read about the different types of creatives in the community. I am excited to share works with inspiring individuals who have a passion for the art. I am excited to give advice and tips on how to branch out as a creative in your own community or to even get out of your comfort zone for the sake of your aspirations.
